From the Mind of Chozen1

Sports is a huge part of my life and this site is almost theraputic for me. Let the stress release begin...
Horse Racing- Putting so much pressure on an animal that can not speak for himself in pointless. You get the million dollar payoff and the horse gets a sponge bath.
Reclassification- Foolish. I understand the dream of playing basketball at a college and the prestige that comes with it because I too had that dream. Perhaps that is why I have no sympathy for players that reclassify. If you cant get it done in four years, why should you get extra years and I cant. Colleges would laugh at me if I couldnt dunk a ball but wanted to hold myself back after my 4th year to boost my GPA. Double standars do exist.
WNBA- I have really tried to watch WNBA games this season and the one I had my eyes on to begin my commitment, one team got blown out! But Candace Parker and my Hometown team play this weekend so hopefully that will renew my commitment.
Washington Sports- I really cant be happier! After years of growing up a depressed child because my teams sucked, to see the future promise of them is simply bliss. I have no problem with wanting more, but the situation all our teams are in is just fine with me.
Bandwagon Fans- I had the oppurtunity of meeting the ultimate bandwagon fan in a gym one day and we are friends now. Here is a guy that grew up in NYC, became a Kobe/Lakers fan at the beginning of his HS years, then all of a sudden became a LeBron/Cavaliers fan when we lost to them in the playoffs. Only to say that he liked LeBron ever since he was is HS. Right, you like the two best players, excuse me "teams" in the NBA. I hope D'Antoni turns around the Knicks so I can see what happens then.
NBA Playoffs- Just ask Cadet lol.
Congratulations to the DCIAA/IAC/WCAC Class of 2008 and be safe this summer.

i agree with all of your points except about the horse-racing. I can see where your coming from because I used to think it was one of the stupidest "sports." But it actually takes a tremendous amount of skill for the jockey and considerable training for the horse. I know im really not a big horse racing fan but watching Big Brown in the last two parts of the triple crown was just amazing. Its unbelievable that a horse can do all of that.
Yeah, the horse racing statement could be off a PETA (Pricks Endangering True Americans) poster.
