D.C. sports on the rise

It is so nice finally seeing the D.C. sports putting themselves back on the map. Skins, Caps, Wizards all in the playoffs. I think it is really cool that they are there because in this area there are so many random fans. You all know what I am talking about. The people who are born and raised in virginia, and has no family in new york, but they are a die hard Yankees fan. There are so many people here that have no love for the hometown teams. Also, there are more fair weather fans here then in any place. I must see atleast 10 orioles bumper stickers every day now. I guarentee that they were not there in the previous years when the team sucked. The skins made the playoffs, and so many people were instantly crazy skins fans. Show some love for the hometeam, and if u can't don't try to jump on once they start winnin

Playoffs are nice, but i'd take a championship team and a bunch of lottery teams over mediocrity.
