Washington Latin Public Charter School is searching for the following spring season coaching positions:
Head Coach & assistant—Middle School Tennis
Head or Assistant Coach—Middle School Baseball
Assistant Coach—Middle School Softball
Assistant Coach—Upper School Track & Field
Middle School athletics meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30PM-4:30PM. All games are scheduled on these days, with a few exceptions. Season starts Wednesday, April 7th and concludes on Thursday, May 20th.
Upper School athletics meet Monday-Friday. Practices begin around 3:45 and last no longer than 5:30PM. A few Saturday competitions will be scheduled. Season starts Monday, March 15th and concludes during the week of May 17th.
Washington Latin is looking for responsible coaches. Our coaches are among the most influential adults in the lives of our student-athletes. In conjunction with parents and school, our coaches are key to developing character in our students. Applicants should possess some prior knowledge and experience as a head, or assistant coach and should be able to plan and organize practices, communicate to the player-parent base, and be available for all game dates and practices.
Washington Latin utilizes city facilities as we get them, therefore, a creative and innovative coach is what we look for.
