Good Counsel High School Junior Varsity: Head & Assistant Boys Lacrosse coaches needed. Prospective coaches should possess a strong understanding for the key concepts and fundamentals of lacrosse.

JV Head Coach applicants should possess some prior knowledge and experience as a head, or assistant boys lacrosse coach and should be able to plan and organize practices, communicate to the player-parent base, be available for all game dates and practices, and potentially help with summer camp and off-season clinics.

JV Assistant Coach applicants should be able to support and implement any practice drills planned and structured by the head coach. They should be present at most team practices and all team games. Assistant jv coaches should be able to work with either the defensive or offensive units of the team, and should be able to help implement the head coach's game plan.

Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) in Manassas, VA, will be adding a men's lacrosse program during the 2009-2010 academic year. NOVA is seeking immediate candidates for the position of Offensive Coordinator. Applicants should have collegiate playing experience and coaching experience at the high school or college level. High personal motivation and the ability to consistently motivate student-athletes is a must for this position. This part-time, coaching-only position offers a small stipend to the right candidate. Episcopal High School (Alexandria, VA) seeks enthusiastic and experienced individuals to fill two separate part-time coaching roles for the 2009-2010 girls' basketball season.

The Assistant Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all facets of daily practices and games (including several weekend contests).

The Head Girls' Junior Varsity Basketball Coach will be responsible for taking leadership of the EHS girls' junior varsity girls' basketball program.

EHS competes in the Independent School League (ISL) and travel to games includes both local competition within MD, DC, and NoVA and occasional longer trips to Richmond and beyond.

Preference will be given to individuals with previous playing and coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
