Young began the year as a starter but was forced to the bench because of an injury. When Young returned, he came off the bench and helped Prep win their final nine games of the year, including the IAC Tournament where he averaged 17 points per game. Young is one of the most athletic players in the league and he proved that by averaging 14.7 points per game and knocking down 26 three-pointers. The junior standout scored 20 or more points four times, including a 27-point performance
