Cavaliers senior defensive end Cameron Johnson was named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week after Virginia's come from behind win at Indiana.

Number 56 was responsible for the key play in the win at Indiana on Saturday (9/10). Johnson sacked the Indiana quarterback with 1:13 to play, stripping the ball away and recovering the fumble, to give the Cavaliers possession at the Hoosiers' 14-yard line. That set up the game-winning field goal as time expired. Johnson finished the game with three tackles, two for losses, one sack, one knocked down pass, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three quarterback pressures. The honor is the first of Johnson's career.

I expect the WCAC '08 class to be well represented in the NFL Draft '12 with Kenny Tate, Cam Chism, Cam Johnson, and Rodney McLeod. All stayed local and all making a big impact for their respective teams. AJ Francis might have a solid chance to get drafted too depending on the type of year he has.
