@smdeagles

Im far more curious about 2 other games:

Calvert Hall v Riverdale Baptist. WaPo used PGPS wins over these two programs to legitimize their rankings of programs like Wise at #2. Looking forward to seeing how these two do head to head.

Gonzaga v Prep: I think many would agree that Gonzaga was lucky to come out w a W last year. With what they lost on offense, again, curious to see how this one goes.

Gonzaga scored 30 points against Peddie last weekend and didn't have a touchdown the week before. Peddie has ten (D1) players on their roster but it looked like only 3-4 P5 players on that team last Friday.  So this should be an interesting one - it's always a battle with Prep.  I think Gonzaga's defense will be too much for Prep this year. Gonzaga's DT #55 and LB's #4 and #13 have been playing very well.  The secondary is also very solid (#7 and #6) and getting better each week.  As for Gonzaga's offense they have a very talented freshman QB who plays behind a young OL except for the two senior OTs. They have an experienced senior running back #24 and several good options at receiver #5 and #6.  Love this game and its for a great cause - the Washington Jesuit Academy.

Agreed 100% on all of the above. The game itself should be great and what makes it even better is that it supports a great org in WJA. That school produces some amazing alums.

What  about GC at Spalding?  Andy S. needs a win but I hear Spalding is rockin this year.  Could be a pretty go one..
